Sydney Justin
Sydney Justin, born in New Orleans and raised in South Central Los Angeles, comes from a talented and athletic family. His life has been shaped by sports, art, and music. He displayed his artistic talent in high school and attended the Otis Art Institute, where he studied under renowned artists Charles White and Ernie Barnes. Although he never played high school football, his natural athleticism earned him a scholarship to Long Beach State University and later a contract with the Los Angeles Rams, with whom he played in Super Bowl XIV. His football career also included stints in the CFL and NFL.
After football, Sydney transitioned to music, contributing to movie soundtracks like Animal House. He joined the pop group Shalamar as lead singer, working with producers L.A. Reid & Babyface on the hit song "Love’s Grown Deep." He also wrote songs and produced soundtracks for movies like Lambada and sang on Bobby Brown’s hit songs "Every Little Step" and "Rock wit' Cha."
As the current lead singer of The Miracles, Sydney continues to perform, bringing energy and passion to the stage. He has also written a book on coaching defensive backs, titled The Lost Art. Sydney is devoted to his faith, believing that all things are possible through Jesus Christ.
Cordell Hamilton Conway
Cordell Hamilton Conway is a vocalist, drummer, actor, writer, producer and educator. Cordell got his start in the entertainment world as a young musician in Richmond, Virginia playing drums for acts such as Tina Turner, Little Richard, The Isley Brothers, and — at 19 years old — he even played for “The Miracles.” He has also played a feature role as one of the lead vocalists with world famous jazz artist Dennis Rowland. Cordell was co-leader of the pop-reggae group “Sanctuary,” who performed throughout California, the Southwest, and the Caribbean Islands.
As an actor, Cordell has had roles in theatre, commercials, and feature films such as: Posse, Wyatt Earp, Waiting to Exhale, and The Kingdom with co star Jamie Foxx. Cordell attended Virginia Union University and achieved a B.A. and M.A. from Arizona State University. He is also a former high school teacher and now resides in Phoenix, Arizona. From Coast to coast Cordell has created Miracles with his talent and The Miracles continue. Cordell is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi.
Kerry Justin
Born in New Orleans, Louisiana into a very talented family of musicians, vocalists, and athletes, K.J., as he is known, sang with his brother Sydney in high school in a group by the name of “The Five Enlightens.” Kerry went on to college on a football scholarship to Oregon State University where he accomplished many honors as a defensive back. After college, he signed a contract as a free agent with the Seattle Seahawks and played in the NFL for 9 years. He also played in the newly formed USFL with the New Jersey Generals, where he achieved recognition as one of the league’s best defensive players.
Kerry joined the legendary The Miracles and plays an important role as background singer and dancer. His presence, professionalism, and leadership has given the group the strength to continue The Miracles history and legacy. K.J. is also a believer and has faith in God’s word; he definitely knows Miracles do happen.
Eric Swindell
Eric "Swinn" Swindle, a talented singer/songwriter from Phoenix, Arizona, began his musical journey at age 8 in the sunbeam choir at South Phoenix Baptist Church. His passion for music led him to pursue a solo career after singing in various groups. Swinn now creates high-energy hip-hop crossover tracks and soulful R&B ballads, captivating audiences both in the U.S. and internationally.
Swinn gained a significant following as the lead vocalist in the theatrical musical "New York News Boyz" at Universal Studios Japan, where he performed to over 80,000 fans nightly during the holidays. Recently, Swinn has been recording in Atlanta, known for its influential R&B and hip-hop scene. Drawing inspiration from artists like Stevie Wonder, Boyz II Men, and Sting, Swinn is eager to share his music and writing with the world.
